The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) invites applications to engage staff on a contractual basis at the ECHS Polyclinic, Samba. These positions are for a period of one year, renewable for an additional year or until attaining the maximum age, subject to the performance of the candidate and other conditions.
Available Positions
Medical Officer
- Minimum Qualification: MBBS
- Number of Vacancies: 02
- Minimum Experience: 05 years
- Fixed Remuneration: ₹75,000 per month
Pharmacist
- Minimum Qualification:
- B/Pharmacy from a recognized institute
- Or (10+2) with science stream from a recognized board
- Diploma in Pharmacy approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and registered under the Pharmacy Act, 1948
- Number of Vacancies: 01
- Minimum Experience: 03 years
- Fixed Remuneration: ₹28,100 per month

- Applicants should submit their applications in the prescribed format along with self-attested photocopies of testimonials, educational qualifications, work experiences, renewed registration certificates, medical fitness certificates duly countersigned by SEMO/CMO, and police verification.
- Applications should be submitted in duplicate by dropping them in the box placed at the main gate of Army Cantt Samba, Distt Samba Pin No 184121.
- Applications received after 13 August 2024 will not be accepted.

Interview Details
- Successful candidates in the documentation screening will be informed of their interview dates via phone call from the office.
- Candidates must bring all original certificates, mark sheets, degrees (10th/matric, 10+2, graduation, post-graduation, diploma/course), work experience, discharge book, PPO, service records, medical fitness certificates, police verification, and two passport-size photographs to the interview.
- No TA/DA is admissible for the interview.
Reserved Vacancies for ESM
As per GOI letter No 24(6)/03/US(WEYD(Res)) dated 22 Sep 2003, vacancies reserved for Ex-Servicemen (ESM) will be filled by other candidates.
